A.K. <BR/>The movies do not follow canon, i.e. they are not consistent with the story. They are more of an alternate possibility. For example, in the series, goku never uses the kaioken on earth while piccolo, yamcha, etc. are alive, but in the movies he does. However, he only learned kaioken until after he died and went to King Kai's planet. Very out of order plot.<BR/><BR/>To dbz.<BR/>There's no japanese people in DBZ probably because there are hardly any blacks in japan (at least back then when the series was made there weren't). The way the story unfolded about how Kakarot first discovered his heritage when his brother Raditz came to earth, and then when Vegeta and Nappa came a year later. Then they all go to Namek and discover that the saiyan battles were just a small skirmish compared to the power of Frieza and his henchmen. Then finally the story behind the saiyans and why Frieza destroyed their planet. The best part is, the final survivor from the planet Vegeta is not only pure hearted, but at this current time is the most powerful of the saiyans left standing.
