hey, about the whole sesshomaru's mom issue... he IS a full demon, he is inuyasha's HALF brother.. they have the same father but different mothers. I believe the anime did a poor job explaining many of these things and they didn't clear up like anything, but if you read the manga then you will find a mch more satisfying ending and all your questions (within reason) will be answered. i read some of the earlier comments, and i have an answer to the Sesshomaru question even tho i have not watched the entire thing...

With bloodlines, it's possible that an offspring can have only characteristics of one parent. so Sesshomaru inherited no traits from their mom, and Inuyasha inherited some from both parents, so he is half demon.

Hopefully that cleared it up a bit. :)

Yes, they are brothers and have the same father, but Inuyasha was the product of his father's love of a human woman. Hence the reason he is called 'half breed' by his brother.
