Ash is not stupid. He is just naive when it comes to pokemon battles. And since some of you clearly have a problem with some, if not all, of the pokemon episodes then either write complaint letters to the creaters of pokemon or stop watching pokemon episodes. Don't waste your time watching it, complaining about it, and taking it out on the CARTOON CHARACTERS! Seriously, use your "common sense" people!!!!!
