yeah cuz i like naruto and yyh there both good exept i have watched yyh longer so i'm more used to it since it started coming on when i was in 1st grade (im in 6th now ^-^) but naruto is just as awsome ^-^ but i talk about naruto more cuz not as many people remember it, but 3 of my friend my mom and my brother talk about yyh constatly and kurama is awsome ^-^ and cute
i don't really remember this show back when so here's a question about the dialogue. when the show was on toonami, a cartoon network programming for older kids like 12and up at the time, did they leave intact all the cussing n da busting your balls part in their episodes?
There is no possible way you can compare Naruto to YYH, really, it's like comparing apples and oranges, sure they are both fruit as Naruto and YYH are both anime but they are not the same. Therefor you honestly cannot compare them, there are pros and cons to each show, the thing about YYH that bugs me is that there doesn't seem to be a major plotline or goal to the show, the problem with Naruto is that the show L........A..........G.........S It seemed like it took 30 episodes for Sarutobi to die, and that was after he'd gotten stabbed, and no they are not trying to keep pace with the manga, the manga is 50 episodes ahead of them, I think they can speed things up a little.

Hey dumbass that said naruto was better than this show you don't see, to understand that this show was a short-lived test show to turn it's viewers into guinea pigs to see what kind of show was liked. This show hit it big and they ended it for bigger projects, one was working on DBZ. Now they have used what they stole from this show for Naruto.
naruto is OK its just that they seem to have taken quantity over quality o.o most of the REALLY good animes are about 30 eps long and have FAR better plot and such and naruto is a pretty weak plot and WAY to many episodes O.o plus shippuuden isnt all that great in my opinion cuz well....it even more emo than the old naruto. Yu Yu Hakusho is STILL the BEST anime ever for me! I've grown to really love it since I was 14. Im 23 now, finished college but still madly in love with YYH!!! Im not gay FYI. Im 100% girl.
Yu Yu Hakusho has more Action then Naruto and Naruto has a better plot than Yu Yu Hakusho to me.

There is a big hole in this quote: First you spelled Yu Yu Hakusho wrong. second: Naruto characters don't Win all the time, and alot of characters that lost, DIED!!!! Unlike Yu Yu Hakusho's main characters Naruto is more realistic and Yu Yu Hakusho is more fantasy like Bleach. (Just add some sword techniques and some extra spiritual ablities and Boom, similar Anime Shows)

Since we're all ranting about Naruto vs Yu Yu Hakusho: Naruto sucks, even despite the fact that the fox is my familiar and I honor all things fox, that dumb show is an exception to my rule... It could be perhaps I have only had the unfortunate chance of seeing the stupid episodes and not the ones with true meaning, but lets face it, you all are watching YU YU HAKUSHO, so don't bring up how 'better' another show is over it, it's not like you're forced to watch it.
The first time i saw a spirit gun done was when vegeta from dbz in namki saga had point to kill tht elder namki for the dragon ball he put his hand the same way as yusuke and said band lol and not to mention the me had look so much like the spirit but point im trying to make is why do people care about rip off who ever head of a inspiration.
That girl at about 2 min with the purple hair is Lena, the angel of death. According to YYH volume 4, "nothing thrills her more than spotting a hot guy and telling him he's going to die". wow, sounds like a very pleasent person, eh?
I do see similarities between the two shows, but I'm no expert. I lost interest in Naruto about 17 chapters in. Kinda hard to compare with my own knowledge but I would have to say that, like most other action shows, bits and pieces are ripped off from other successful shows. Writers are allowed to tip their hats to one another, it happens all the time.
