I don't know about the jap, but in the manga he didn't ask for any kind of hard drink("No alchohol for me...maybe some orange juice?"), so if they did change it, it was to be closer to the original. Not all dubs suck. Try opening your mind a little, kay? ♥

For the people who are saying that Toguro asked for something heavy in the Japanese version, I think you're wrong. You have to take two things into consideration...
One - Toguro wasn't supposed to be some bad ass demon. He was a kind human, who became confused with emotion and became a demon upon finding his students massacred..
Two - If they didn't dub Sensui calling Yusuke a bitch, why would they dub Toguro getting a drink?
(Both the scenes I refer to are the uncut Funimation DVD's.)
In all honesty I thought that was Zeiru. Zeiru was a favorite of mine, too bad he got killed off. He was superbly powerful, enough so that rokuyoukai team would probably be in the semis. Too bad he ran into the dragon.
