I don't know why people think a weak 4'10" dwarf with goku hair that got his ass kicked by a young Yusuke who just got into the whole spirit detective thing is the coolest character on the show. He's clearly in the closet.
Kuwabara, on the other hand, is a big lovable clumsy oaf with a very high conviction, a moral code, a sense of romance, high spiritual perception, the spirit of a hero and the unparalleled ability to take a beating.
