I hated the ending. It coulda been good with little Goku and Vegeta fighting but they didn't even know they were going Super Saiyan, they just let the whole legend of Goku and all the people he fought die. (the statue was only for him winning the tournament not for saving the earth 10 billion times) STUPID
hm... I don't get it, did Goku become a new Shenron or something? He DID get a bunch of new powers at the end... How else to enter and leave hell willingly like that? I dunno, I guess it's supposed to keep you wondering. And for the people that didn't like the ending, your wrong, it was the best possible ending they could've made, your just angry because the greatest anime series ever made is over. *Tear*
That ending was terrible. The 2 families didn't even know each other any more, and I agree with everthing "STUPID ENDING" said. they didn't keep any legacy of Goku, Vegeta, or any other people. Also when Pan saw Goku they didn't even talk. Goku didn't talk to anyone else eather.
Well what I heard was that In Japan they didn't end it and it kept going they left like the last 10 episodes or something But I dont reall believe that.

It's not like it was after 10 generations. Pan is still alive so they should at least know Pan, thus get to know Pan's family and Pan's grandson Goku Jr..
And the fact that they didn't even know they were going Super Saiyan and gone to it so easily just ruined the whole legend of SS Vegeta had been talking about ever since DBZ.
Hate to say it, but I prefer the DBZ ending more than this one, that one left with you wondering what the Z fighters will do afterward, they're all still alive. Whereas this one, they're all dead.
Besides, originally DBZ was the real ending, the creator said he coudln't continue to compose more stories after Buu, thus ending the entire series with Uub reborn and fought with Goku in the World Martial Arts' Tournament.
So GT wasn't meant to come out in the first place. And by the looks of how the GT storyline was compiled. I doubt if the creativity of Akira Toriyama was behind it.
The strength allocation weren't even proportional, how can 3 Super Saiyan charge up a Super Saiyan 4? And Trunks hardly ever turned into a Super Saiyan and got beaten easily in the beginning.
Why was Majuub so weak? He is the reincarnation of Kid Buu fused with Majin Buu, that should be more than enough to beat a Super Saiyan 3.
The fact he played out so pathetically weak in GT just made me frustrated.
Also everyone else apart from Goku and Vegeta were weak. Even Both Goku and Vegeta were weak at times. Besides, how they sometimes seem able fight more in the normal form than the Super Saiyan just aren't right.
I know many people still think it's good, that's because it's Dragon Ball, there were so many great series in DBZ, that's why even GT is a terrible series people subconiously would still think it's good because of the early influenc they got from watching DBZ.
It's just a pity to watch one of my favorite animes to continue going, and going because of the commerical purpose until the entire storyline is totally ruined and can't be continued no more, and then they end it for this sake. And NOT ending it for sake of ending the story with finesse.

Disappointing ending. So many questions left unanswered. What happened to everyone? Who did Pan have a child with? Was it Bulla or Trunks that had a child? GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Still the most amazing series ever though.
Goddamn it i hate Goku sometimes. He's one of those people that other people think 'omg, he's so selfless <3<3' but the only reason they're doing all that stuff is for they're own gain. Its so annoying!! He was cool in Dragonball, and only slightly annoying at the end of Dragonball Z, but GT killed him. He and Pan can both go jump off cliffs. Jeez, I pity poor Chi-Chi. And poor Gohan-- but more so poor Goten-- his effing dad didn't even care about him!!! He's all "OMFG GOHAN!!! ARE YOU OK?!?! OMG YOU SCRATCHED MY SON!!! YOU ALMOST BROKE THE SKIN!! I'LL KILL YOU!!! BITCH!!!" meanwhile Goten is lying ten metres away, bleeding all over the place, having seizures, with a missing leg . Poor Goten. No one cares about him. 'cept maybe Chi-Chi. and that Valese chick. OOH! and did you notice that in DBZ, when Gohan, Goten and Trunks got absorbed by buu, Veggie and Goku go inside buu to save them, and when they find them, Goku's all like "OMFG!!!!111!eleven!!shift1!! GOHAN!!!" and Veggies all liek "ooh! Trunks!!! and Goten!!1 w00t! lets save them!!" Ok, i don't know where i was going with that... LOL that went absolutely no where.
Ok, back to my original point- GT ruined Goku. And Pan should die a slow, painful death. And everyone else rocks. Except for Goten's, Yamcha's and Vegeta's hair. They all sucked.

He had his lame-ass moments (Ooh, MYSTIC!!!), but on the whole he was cool; Videl WAS cool... but she had like, a tiny part in this... ; Mr. Satan just plain rocks; Chi-Chi was cool in DB, sucked at the start of DBZ, was cool by the end and then basically disapeared in GT; Goten has always, and always will be awesome; Same goes for the Ox King; Bardock was a little creepy....; and Raditz seriously needed to consult his hairstylist. Wow, and I was afraid I was leaving messages that were too long O.O the ending was touching, people who hate it and can't appreciate it, are probably those who can't get over the fact it is over, everything comes to an end and so does DB. Also if you continue something for too long it looses its value. For example if it is a short but awesome serie people remember it as awesome one! If the series is a bit longer and good people say that was a great serie. If it is pretty long people don't like it as much anymore and are sad when it is over, and when it is as long as DB It is hard to comprehend that it is over, and people start to critisize the flaws instead on focusing on the good parts... Basically it is a good thing they stopped before the serie was turned into a complete ... because some people already started thinking so...
I would say one thing though, there was something in DBZ that was missing in DBGT. in DBGT you could feel how things were moving too fast, how differences in power looked weird and that some enemies were simply stupid! I think that DBZ had a heart put into it whereas DBGT didn't have one...
all i can say is im extremly disapointed and wish the creater was still alive and young to come back and make it so nobody even remembers gt and all of its gayness.

DB, DBZ, and DBGT, were all a very, very long series.. but it was one of the greatest.. it is the greatest anime of all time.. I want to step up and reopen the series.. I've got so many concepts open for that..
DB.DBZ.DBGT all are great i cried when i saw the last chapter in DBGT. but there is some one made me feel better.........no best for what relly happend.

I agree with what a lot of others put on here...this ending wasn't the best. It had that sad element to it that kind of kills the whole ending. All the characters were sad that Goku left. Even the frequently sarcastic Vegeta was sad to see his friend go. It would've been a nicer ending, IMO, if 20 years later (instead of after everyone but Pan has died and gone to Heaven), Goku were to return and ALL of his friends and family (i.e. Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Videl, Mr. Satan, Piccolo, Tien, Yamacha, etc.) were to go to watch the World Tournament and have sort of a family reunion. I'd like to have seen them just have a good time in each other's company (what would've been especially good would have been if Goku and Vegeta were to chow down in the cafe of the World Tournament and everyone would have that stupid look on their face while they watched them eat--that always cracks me up!). And for the final scene, I would've liked to see the whole group take sort of a "final bow" in the fighting ring at the tournament in order to give a happier ending to the show (more like the ending of the DBZ anime, but without ANYBODY leaving or dying).

ok loved every dragon ball series but that ending was shit i mean come on they are all dead? how crap can you get? i mean it would have been alot better if they were all in other world all of them gathered together it just left so many things unawnserd did goku reach super saiyan 5? where the hell is everyone else and how the hell is pan alive and trunks and bulla and goten ant? they should have made that ending better
God, that was a terrible ending. I mean, if I had to nominate a "worst ending in anime history" award, GT would win hands down.
Firstly, it really bothers me that Goku risks his life over and over to protect his "loved ones" and then when the fights over he just leaves for 10+ plus years to train or whatnot. To make things worse, he didn't even hug or kiss any of his family before he left on the dragon; he just said goodbye and was gone.
Secondly - and I know this isn't all that important - it bothers me that when Krillin is brought back to life, he's just sitting at the kame house like nothing happened. Have we all forgetten about how tore up 18 was when Krillin died? She really wanted to see him again, and I was really hoping for a reunion between them since they were my favorite couple in the series. Like I said, I know that's not a big issue, but it still bothers me when they leave out closure like that.
Thirdly, and most imporantly, (just like a bunch of other people mentioned as well) they leave so many questions unanswered. I mean, it's just plain ridiculous that two extremely close families like Goku's and Vegeta's, who fought together to save the world for Christ's sake, don't even know each other anymore?!! I mean, what the hell? If pan is still alive then it certainly hasn't been THAT long. Not to mention, if Pan and Trunks really did get married, as well as Bulla and Goten, don't you think they would have kept in touch? Christmas holidays at least???!
I'm sorry to ramble like that, but being such a huge fan of DBZ, I just had to vent about how frustrated I am with this idiotic ending.
It's painfully obvious that the original creator had no say in how the story in GT was produced, and if he's actually taken the time to watch the GT saga (which I'm sure he has) I bet he was just as disappointed with how the company handled the ending.
Well, that's my two cents; sorry for the hot-headed attitude :P.
I guess we can only hope that Akira Toriyama decides to add to the amazing series that he left back in DBZ one day.
I wish they just left episode 63 as the ending so that it's up to the viewers to think what the ending will be.
By the way, the last episode doesnt tell us that Vegeta died. Maybe he just ran away to practice more to keep up with Goku. Well, he's a Sayan, he can live for a very, very long time.

I would of thought that vegeta Jr. would look nothing like not very much like vegeta and in the movie called the history of dragonball or somethin were goku Jr is lookin for the dragonball well goku is dead in that but goku would be younger than pan at that time since he was a kid the whole of GT so bit of a PLOT HOLE or maybe they just got a new writer to do the movie.
I loved Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, even more and Dragon Ball GT the best. Whoever dissagrees (and that would be mostly everyone by the look of these comments) can all SMBF! I won't explain what that means but if you're smart enough I'm sure you'll figure it out.

FIRSTLY!!! it's easly understood the the Brief and Son families no longer know each other by the time Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. fight one another in the tournament....MORE THAN A CENTURY HAS PASSED SINCE GOKU DESTROYED OMEGA SHENRON.. pay more attention ya'll. honestly, in the original uncut undubbed version of "A Hero's Legacy" wasn't titled "A Hero's Legacy" it was titled The "100 years later" movie. as cheesy as all titles in Japan, and Pan just like all the Son family.. most notably Goku probally became reclusive like Goku in her old age therefore being the soul surviving member of the family from that age she would not know the Briefs of future generations.. dildos... pay more attention.

They've goten so far into the series that if they did make more it would have to have different characters, different plot, almost completly different from the original story.

The ending was shit, dragonball gt was shit. The only good thing in gt was seeing gogeta as a ssj4. Funimaiton completely lost the plot with dbgt. They had no idea what they were doing, they just made it up as they went along. Also, goku seemed to be the only one that actually did any fighting, all the others just seemed to watch and when they did eventually go to fight, they didn't even try, cough Gohan cough. Nough Said

i watched GT because i felt committed to, but it was a complete and utter let down...the fights sucked...how in the hell do they give us SSJ4 Gogeta, only for him to be a complete pansy....

Its messed up how vegeta just kinda asked goku why he was leaving,you vegeta always wanted to surpass goku but now vegeta has nobody to surpass omg poor vegeta he must have lost his spirit for fighting just like he did when cell killed goku ,my point is dat it was messed up how he just left like that without explaining why.

I half agree that the ending was lame... and how could the two families NOT know each other. But jeezus ppl the series wasn't supposed to even continue after Frieza; Goku was supposed to die after his battle then but the creator decided to continue and I felt that the ending to GT was right.

dragonball is the best anime ever created! even if akira toriyama didnt create gt, its still a good anime! all and all db, dbz, dbgt are the best animes in the world, the best ever created, the best no matter what people say, it doesnt compare to anything else. it makes every other anime seems like its just small fish in the ocean! goku, i love you! you literally changed my life. i've stuck beside you from the beginning till the end. i will never ever forget you or this anime! After just finishing watching this entire show I would have to say that DBZ was definitely the better of the three.
There were many things lacking is this series that made a huge difference. Because it is a cartoon, I can understand some errors in the plot as long as they are minor. I've read a lot of comments saying why didn't so and so do this, or why didn't so and so do that? Why wasn't so and so involved more, and why were they so weak? If every character lived up to the expectations you people have, they would all be ridiculously strong and enemies would instantly have 7 or 8 sayins kicking their ass at once and the whole dramatic element wouldn't be there.
The lack of participation from other characters kind of got to me in spots but from the very beginning of each series, certain z fighters are chosen as the center of the storyline. Unfortunately in the beginning of GT, you have kid Goku, PAN, and Trunks as the focus characters. This combined with the comedic element they tried to employ turned many against the show. Luckily the show got better once Vegeta was again emphasized on.
That being said, the biggest things that made this series the weakest are the lack of drama and the rushing. Both of these are connected if you think about it. There was a point in GT where you could feel things starting to rush. Almost as if they just wanted to get it over with.
I am just as sad as all of you that the series is over. I really doubt that there will ever be anymore episodes made. All we can hope is that whoever is making this live action movie does it right! I am excited about this movie but I already have this preconceived vision of what the movie SHOULD look like. It should be very much like the final fight between Agent Smith and Neo in the last Matrix movie.
The Anime wasn't made by funimation. Funimation is the North American licensor of the series. Can't blame them for what's going on in the anime because they didn't create it.
Anyway, perhaps Goku did die. Maybe he was dieing all along and exhausted himself, and what you were seeing by the end was his spirit lying there.
As for the Dragon Balls, I don't know. It's strange, because you do still see his original form in "A Hero's Legacy" with Goku Jr. It's possible he became the "new Dragon" so to speak, although there's no way to tell for sure.
THe Reason ppl are always saying the ending sucks or DBGT sucks is cause it lack in the story line like DB & DBZ did, they made DBGT more action packed b/c alot of ppl were complaining about not seeing enough action and for the few ppl that actually enjoyed the storyline ... your about 1/1000 of the ppl that actually cared for the story line vrs. the actual people who wanted the action.
As for most of the series I enjoyed all of it for what it had to offer, the early DBGT was o.k. the later half of the DBGT was great, I mean they did warn about the D-Balls and to not over use them all the time and they didn't listen at all.
As DBGT story had said it was goku's choice to make the "ultimate Sacrifice" once again, by taking full responsibility for the over use of the D-Balls, and thus Shenron took him and the D-Balls away from the earth for good.
The part about the future ending does kinda make sense, idk who married who but I really do not think it matters how much sayjin blood is in you for a SS Trans. ( I could be wrong but thats up to the "DBZ NERDS" to correct me on)but it seems like if you have the blood in you, you can transform, but just not higher than SS3 as in where Vegeta was wondering why he couldn't go SS4.
All in all it was a good series why it lasted I have seen all of the DBZ DBGT and most of the DB (only cause I started in the DBZ saga and didn't realize there was an earlier one till later on in the shows when they were showing flashbacks) I have all the movies (downloaded and/or bought) and knew what happened up to the end.
Flat out it was a good ending, who cares what happens afterwards... Goku made his ultimate Sacrifice to save the world once again and shenron said they would be back ( well at least the D-Balls) most of what else you hear about what happened after that .... is all rumors. ( you can't believe what you read on the fan sites now, otherwise your just as gullible as the ppl posting them.) Good Ending to finish the series GJ DB,DBZ,DBGT.

I have to say that I am split about the ending. I partially liked it but it left so many questions unanswered such as the family ties and how they aren't there anymore, who married who and what happened to all the previous characters(Gohan,Goten,Trunks,Chi-Chi,etc....)? For the ending, they could have shown all of the characters excluding Pan of course in heaven, just laughing and smiling together to wrap it up. That in my opinion, would have been a much better ending and I'm sure a lot of people would have been much happier to see their favourite character smiling at the end. However, this ending was still too sad :( I found that DBZ had a better story all around than DBGT and there were some flaws in DBGT, I mean yes, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, etc.... were training like Vegeta or Goku but to make them soo weak against any opponent is just ridiculus. Whatever happened to Gohan who took Cell all by himself? I mean come on. I'll always love the DBZ and DBGT and hope that they'll make more episodes in the future.
i agree with sooo many people here, gt, was definitely not at good as the originals, the ones toriyama can stand behind. It was cute, but it contradicted sooo much that dbz established, the whole story focused about 70 percent on Pan which was somewhat useless maybe not 70 but she did have way too much and was only a pest in my eyes. I have heard about Dragonball AF made and started in japan, where both goku and vegeta turned into ss5 and ss6. vegeta is the strongest in this series at the end(even more than goku).

That ending was terrible. The 2 families didn't even know each other any more, and I agree with everthing "STUPID ENDING" said. they didn't keep any legacy of Goku, Vegeta, or any other people. Also when Pan saw Goku they didn't even talk. Goku didn't talk to anyone else eather.

The strength allocation weren't
even proportional, how can 3
Super Saiyan charge up a Super
Saiyan 4? And Trunks hardly ever
turned into a Super Saiyan and
got beaten easily in the beginning.
Why was Majuub so weak? He is
the reincarnation of Kid Buu
fused with Majin Buu, that should
be more than enough to beat a
Super Saiyan 3.
The fact he played out so
pathetically weak in GT just made

Also everyone else apart from
Goku and Vegeta were weak. Even

Disappointing ending. So many questions left unanswered. What happened to everyone? Who did Pan have a child with? Was it Bulla or Trunks that had a child? GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Still the most amazing series ever though.
Goddamn it i hate Goku sometimes. He's one of those people that other people think 'omg, he's so selfless <3<3' but the only reason they're doing all that stuff is for they're own gain. the ending was touching, people who hate it and can't appreciate it, are probably those who can't get over the fact it is over, everything comes to an end and so does DB. Also if you continue something for too long it looses its value. For example if it is a short but awesome serie people remember it as awesome one!
If the series is a bit longer and good people say that was a great serie. If it is pretty long people don't like it as much anymore and are sad when it is over, and when it is as long as DB It is hard to comprehend that it is over, and people start to critisize the flaws instead on focusing on the good parts... Basically it is a good thing they stopped before the serie was turned into a complete ... because some people already started thinking so...
I would say one thing though, there was something in DBZ that was missing in DBGT. in DBGT you could feel how things were moving too fast, how differences in power looked weird and that some enemies were simply stupid! I think that DBZ had a heart put into it whereas DBGT didn't have one...

DB, DBZ, and DBGT, were all a very, very long series.. but it was one of the greatest.. it is the greatest anime of all time.. I want to step up and reopen the series.. I've got so many concepts open for that..

I agree with what a lot of others put on here...this ending wasn't the best. It had that sad element to it that kind of kills the whole ending. All the characters were sad that Goku left. Even the frequently sarcastic Vegeta was sad to see his friend go. It would've been a nicer ending, IMO, if 20 years later (instead of after everyone but Pan has died and gone to Heaven), Goku were to return and ALL of his friends and family (i.e. Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Videl, Mr. Satan, Piccolo, Tien, Yamacha, etc.) were to go to watch the World Tournament and have sort of a family reunion. I'd like to have seen them just have a good time in each other's company (what would've been especially good would have been if Goku and Vegeta were to chow down in the cafe of the World Tournament and everyone would have that stupid look on their face while they watched them eat--that always cracks me up!). And for the final scene, I would've liked to see the whole group take sort of a "final bow" in the fighting ring at the tournament in order to give a happier ending to the show (more like the ending of the DBZ anime, but without ANYBODY leaving or dying).
That's just my opinion, though. :)

God, that was a terrible ending. I mean, if I had to nominate a "worst ending in anime history" award, GT would win hands down.
Firstly, it really bothers me that Goku risks his life over and over to protect his "loved ones" and then when the fights over he just leaves for 10+ plus years to train or whatnot. To make things worse, he didn't even hug or kiss any of his family before he left on the dragon; he just said goodbye and was gone.
Secondly - and I know this isn't all that important - it bothers me that when Krillin is brought back to life, he's just sitting at the kame house like nothing happened. Have we all forgetten about how tore up 18 was when Krillin died? She really wanted to see him again, and I was really hoping for a reunion between them since they were my favorite couple in the series. Like I said, I know that's not a big issue, but it still bothers me when they leave out closure like that.
Thirdly, and most imporantly, (just like a bunch of other people mentioned as well) they leave so many questions unanswered. I mean, it's just plain ridiculous that two extremely close families like Goku's and Vegeta's, who fought together to save the world for Christ's sake, don't even know each other anymore?!! I mean, what the hell? If pan is still alive then it certainly hasn't been THAT long. Not to mention, if Pan and Trunks really did get married, as well as Bulla and Goten, don't you think they would have kept in touch? Christmas holidays at least???!
I'm sorry to ramble like that, but being such a huge fan of DBZ, I just had to vent about how frustrated I am with this idiotic ending.
It's painfully obvious that the original creator had no say in how the story in GT was produced, and if he's actually taken the time to watch the GT saga (which I'm sure he has) I bet he was just as disappointed with how the company handled the ending.
Well, that's my two cents; sorry for the hot-headed attitude :P.
I guess we can only hope that Akira Toriyama decides to add to the amazing series that he left back in DBZ one day.

This ended just like the freaking sopranoes and its pissing me off. how can the 2 families NOT no eachother? and what in bloody hell happed to goku and shenron at the end?!? if goku was leaving forever, then why is chi-chi all like "oh, its too bad i'll never see him again....so who wants dinner?" Why did the dragon balls go into goku's body? and at the very end of the show (after the flashbacks) how could goku possibly come back to fight if evil comes up again if he's supposidly dead?

The ending was shit, dragonball gt was shit. The only good thing in gt was seeing gogeta as a ssj4. Funimaiton completely lost the plot with dbgt. They had no idea what they were doing, they just made it up as they went along. Also, goku seemed to be the only one that actually did any fighting, all the others just seemed to watch and when they did eventually go to fight, they didn't even try, cough Gohan cough. Nough Said

also...what if your not a fan of goku...maybe you wanted to see someone else fight...there were NO good fights with gohan or goten...or trunks for that matter...and you had to wait something like 55 episodes to see a good fight with vegeta...

dragonball is the best anime ever created! even if akira toriyama didnt create gt, its still a good anime! all and all db, dbz, dbgt are the best animes in the world, the best ever created, the best no matter what people say, it doesnt compare to anything else. it makes every other anime seems like its just small fish in the ocean!

After just finishing watching this entire show I would have to say that DBZ was definitely the better of the three.
There were many things lacking is this series that made a huge difference. Because it is a cartoon, I can understand some errors in the plot as long as they are minor. I've read a lot of comments saying why didn't so and so do this, or why didn't so and so do that? Why wasn't so and so involved more, and why were they so weak? If every character lived up to the expectations you people have, they would all be ridiculously strong and enemies would instantly have 7 or 8 sayins kicking their ass at once and the whole dramatic element wouldn't be there.
The lack of participation from other characters kind of got to me in spots but from the very beginning of each series, certain z fighters are chosen as the center of the storyline. Unfortunately in the beginning of GT, you have kid Goku, PAN, and Trunks as the focus characters. This combined with the comedic element they tried to employ turned many against the show. Luckily the show got better once Vegeta was again emphasized on.
That being said, the biggest things that made this series the weakest are the lack of drama and the rushing. Both of these are connected if you think about it. There was a point in GT where you could feel things starting to rush. Almost as if they just wanted to get it over with.
I am just as sad as all of you that the series is over. I really doubt that there will ever be anymore episodes made. All we can hope is that whoever is making this live action movie does it right! I am excited about this movie but I already have this preconceived vision of what the movie SHOULD look like. It should be very much like the final fight between Agent Smith and Neo in the last Matrix movie.
The Anime wasn't made by funimation. Funimation is the North American licensor of the series. Can't blame them for what's going on in the anime because they didn't create it.
Anyway, perhaps Goku did die. Maybe he was dieing all along and exhausted himself, and what you were seeing by the end was his spirit lying there.
As for the Dragon Balls, I don't know. It's strange, because you do still see his original form in "A Hero's Legacy" with Goku Jr. It's possible he became the "new Dragon" so to speak, although there's no way to tell for sure.
THe Reason ppl are always saying the ending sucks or DBGT sucks is cause it lack in the story line like DB & DBZ did, they made DBGT more action packed b/c alot of ppl were complaining about not seeing enough action and for the few ppl that actually enjoyed the storyline ... your about 1/1000 of the ppl that actually cared for the story line vrs. the actual people who wanted the action.
As for most of the series I enjoyed all of it for what it had to offer, the early DBGT was o.k. the later half of the DBGT was great, I mean they did warn about the D-Balls and to not over use them all the time and they didn't listen at all.
As DBGT story had said it was goku's choice to make the "ultimate Sacrifice" once again, by taking full responsibility for the over use of the D-Balls, and thus Shenron took him and the D-Balls away from the earth for good.
The part about the future ending does kinda make sense, idk who married who but I really do not think it matters how much sayjin blood is in you for a SS Trans. ( I could be wrong but thats up to the "DBZ NERDS" to correct me on)but it seems like if you have the blood in you, you can transform, but just not higher than SS3 as in where Vegeta was wondering why he couldn't go SS4.
All in all it was a good series why it lasted I have seen all of the DBZ DBGT and most of the DB (only cause I started in the DBZ saga and didn't realize there was an earlier one till later on in the shows when they were showing flashbacks) I have all the movies (downloaded and/or bought) and knew what happened up to the end.
Flat out it was a good ending, who cares what happens afterwards... Goku made his ultimate Sacrifice to save the world once again and shenron said they would be back ( well at least the D-Balls) most of what else you hear about what happened after that .... is all rumors. ( you can't believe what you read on the fan sites now, otherwise your just as gullible as the ppl posting them.) Good Ending to finish the series GJ DB,DBZ,DBGT.

I have to say that I am split about the ending. I partially liked it but it left so many questions unanswered such as the family ties and how they aren't there anymore, who married who and what happened to all the previous characters(Gohan,Goten,Trunks,Chi-Chi,etc....)? For the ending, they could have shown all of the characters excluding Pan of course in heaven, just laughing and smiling together to wrap it up. That in my opinion, would have been a much better ending and I'm sure a lot of people would have been much happier to see their favourite character smiling at the end. However, this ending was still too sad :( I found that DBZ had a better story all around than DBGT and there were some flaws in DBGT, I mean yes, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, etc.... were training like Vegeta or Goku but to make them soo weak against any opponent is just ridiculus. Whatever happened to Gohan who took Cell all by himself? I mean come on. I'll always love the DBZ and DBGT and hope that they'll make more episodes in the future.
i agree with sooo many people here, gt, was definitely not at good as the originals, the ones toriyama can stand behind. It was cute, but it contradicted sooo much that dbz established, the whole story focused about 70 percent on Pan which was somewhat useless maybe not 70 but she did have way too much and was only a pest in my eyes. I have heard about Dragonball AF made and started in japan, where both goku and vegeta turned into ss5 and ss6. vegeta is the strongest in this series at the end(even more than goku).
