even the tiniest blasts of energy used to send goku(in SS4) flying into the air and here after those blasts and even the black sphere's direct hit, it didn't even make a bruise, what is that all about?
It always makes me cringe when Vegeta gets hit by those spikes right through his arm...I'm sure the only reason he could even move was cause he thought Goku was dead and he got mad, and even with that motivation he still didn't last very long, did he?
Its crazy how all those enemies they fought over the years and defeated only worsened their stance on earth. If you think about it, all the good wishes they made only created the baddest dude on earth. Great plot.
what i dont get is why the hell cant trunks, goten, gohan all go supersayan i know they are no match but surely ss3 fusion and gohan could have a crack...they never go ss anymore so soft

2 bad that every enemy is defeted bij a powerwave like a spiritbomb that is nothing from what is was at the normal dragonball. and this issint any martial arts anymore 2bad ithink if i could i would chance it in to more fighting instead of powerwaves
isn't it the spirit bomb could be able to bounce it back if theres no evil, within. Like how it was bounce back in dbz by gohan to vegita (first visited earth)
how goku shrugs all those blasts that would normally do much damage is a way to show his determination at the moment. if u want a more technical explanation then also he is taking some of that energy he has received for the bomb into his body to survive the attacks. I like the poetic explanation better though. also a lot of things in dbgt dont really make "sense", its just that ur takin them too literal and physical.... its just a cartoon and i bet the creators want to represents the emotions through the attacks aesthetics and not so much the physics unlike dbz. dbz got a little too shallow and physical at times which some people like, imo dbz still had great plots and great arguments regarding: goku wanting to train younger generation. Vegetas u know... feelings (hes so emotional lol). Goku usual way of dealing with the baddies (well unusual way i should say hehehe).
the spirit bomb is only used like 4 times in the whole official dbz story not including the movies, 1st time against Vegeta, 2nd time against Freiza, 3rd against Buu and well including dbgt against Omega Shenron.
and saiyans generally can keep fiting even if theyre missing an arm, like gohan whne he got his arm cut/blasted off he probably didnt notice till they stiched it back up.

lol starting at 2:42 - 3:40 Goku sounds exactly like Gohan when he fought against Cell mostly word for word.
